Welcome to Motel Maldon!

Formerly known as The Maldon Eaglehawk Motel, we are an affordable and comfortable family-run motel accommodation in Maldon, Victoria - Australia’s 'First Notable Town' located right in the heart of Central Victoria’s Goldfields.

Motel Maldon is located just minutes from the city centre and Maldon’s historic Railway Station, from which Victorian Goldfields Railway run their steam trains twice a week to and from Castlemaine. Maldon has the most intact heritage streetscape of any goldfield town in Victoria while being within easy reach of other attractions and significant centres in the region.

Motel Maldon also has on a function/gathering space- the new 'Garden Room'.
The Garden Room has a full kitchen, wifi, large screen and seating for approx 30 guests and additional standing room serviced by its own bathroom.
Catering can also be provided for larger groups. The Garden room has a wood fire and split system for winter and has cooling for summer with large openings out to the garden and pool area.
